Next weekly organizing meeting of Mobilization Against
War & Occupation (MAWO)

Join us for this week’s MAWO meeting and get involved
in antiwar organizing in the Lower Mainland! We will
be discussing and planning for the demonstration this Saturday August 26 
demanding an end to Canada’s occupation of Afghanistan, US/UK Out of Iraq,
self-determination for Palestine and an end to
Israel’s attacks and occupation of Gaza & Lebanon.

At the begining of tomorrow's general meeting will
have as usual a political report on recent political
developments in the Middle East followed by discussion. We will also have an 
assessment of the
very successful forum MAWO organized last week
entitled “What is Behind the US-Israeli War Drive in
Gaza & Lebanon?”. Over 80 people attended for speakers
and discussion on the meaning of the US-Israel war on
Gaza & Lebanon and the August 14 ‘ceasefire’ - an
important event for possible continuing of such forums
for the purpose of education and mobilization in the
future!
