CUBAN FIVE DENIED NEW TRIAL!

On Wednesday August 9th, 12 judge panel of the 11th
Circuit Court released its decision NOT to grant the
Five Cuban Heroes a new trial. Exactally one year ago,
a 3 judge panel of the same court overturned all of
the sentances against the Five, ordering a new trial
with a change of venue.
The US Government appealed the decision of the 3 judge
panel and demanded the appeal of the Cuban Five be
reheard before a full 12 judge panel. Wednesday's
announcement is the result of that new appeal. The US
Government, using the twists and turns of the US legal
system have kept the Cuban 5 Heroes unjustly
imprisoned for eight years.
In the coming week, lawyers for the five will decide
whether or not to take the case to the Supreme Court-
and it's a crucial time for all of us standing in
solidarity with the Five Heroes around the world to
take action. Let us show the Five Cuban Heroes are not
alone in their struggle for justice and humanity!
