Next Meeting of Mobilization Against War & Occupation (MAWO)...

MAWO has just wrapped up a very successful weekend of antiwar action with 
the November 19th demonstration “US/UK Out of Iraq! Canada Out of 
Afghanistan!” and the November 20th Conference “Canada: Imperialist Abroad, 
Imperialist At Home”. Many people came to both the rally and the conference 
and at the conference on Sunday there was extensive and deep discussion 
about Canadian imperialism and our role as people living in Canada today to 
expose it.

We are moving full-force into organizing and outreaching for MAWO’s 3rd 
Annual Antiwar Film Festival on December 17th & 18th where we’ll be using 
art and culture as political education and mobilizing tools in building the 
antiwar movement. As well, MAWO has a full schedule of action leading up to 
the March 18/19th International Weekend of Action on the 3rd anniversary of 
the invasion of Iraq with a march and rally at 12noon at the Vancouver Art 
Gallery. Come out and get involved in our antiwar movement building work!
