Reminder: Mobilization Against War & Occupation (MAWO) Meeting This Week!

This is a reminder that it is MAWO meeting time again! We will be meeting 
this Wednesday, November 9 at 6:30pm at the Britannia Community Center (1661 
Napier St - on Commercial Drive at Napier St) and everyone is welcome to 
join us!

This week we'll be discussing our organizing for the next few months 
including the major actions of the demonstration on November 19 (US/UK Out 
of Iraq! Canada Out of Afghanistan!) and the all-day conference on November 
20 (Canada: Imperialist Abroad, Imperialist At Home - Building the Antiwar 
Movement to Confront the Canadian War Drive) as well as the 3rd annual 
antiwar film festival for two days in December - and our action calendar all 
the way up to the March 18, 2006 International Day of Action!

pre-registration form for the November 20 Conference on building the antiwar 
movement to confront the Candian war drive to sign up encourage others to 
pre-register for the conference. Registration and the conference are both 
free - registrations can also be sent to info at mawovancouver.org.
