Dr, Sfeir is Director of the Education Development Center at Bethlehem
University in Occupied Palestine. She is a Member of the Advisory Board of
the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel
(PACBI). She is an outstanding and dedicated activist in the Palestinian
education system. For the past 21 years, she has taken a leading role in
developing curriculum and methods meaningful to students whose lives are
disrupted by the Israeli occupation. She is in Vancouver upon invitation
from the BC Teachers Federation.
