NEXT ORGANIZING MEETING OF MOBILIZATION AGAINST WAR AND OCCUPATION (MAWO):

Come to the next MAWO organizing meeting to continue to organize and build an effective anti war/anti occupation movement in the lower mainland!
 
As we are nearing the 1st anniversary of the US/Canada/France invasion of Haiti at the end of the month MAWO has focused on actions and events to protest and educate around the ongoing occupation. On Saturday February 26 there is the MAWO demonstration to mark the 1st anniversary of the invasion of Haiti. This month we have also focused on the "Operation: Canada Out!" campaign demanding "Canada out of Haiti!" and Canada Out of Afghanistan!" We have held a petition tour stop collecting hundreds of signatures in North Vancouver last Saturday as well as a petition tour stop and forum planned for Surrey at the end of the month. At our meeting this week we will be discussing and organizing these actions. Look out for more info on the March 19th, 20th Weekend of actions to mark the 2nd Anniversary of the US/UK invasion of Iraq!
