of US President George W Bush to arrive on Monday
August 29th, the day of anti-Cuban terrorist Luis
Posada-Carilles's immigration hearing in Texas.

This letter serves as a short cover letter for a

Re: Collection of petition signatures for the
extradition of Luis Posada Carriles to Venezuela

In this package you will find 1,005 names signed to
petitions demanding that Luis Posada
Carriles not be granted in asylum in the United States
of America and that he must be extradited
to Venezuela.

These petitions have been circulated by volunteers who
are concerned with the threat that the
admitted terrorist Posada-Carriles poses to people in
Cuba and throughout Latin America, as well
as to people in the US and Canada and around the
world.

The petitions that you find in this package are the
result of just over one month of volunteer work
in neighbourhoods and communities around Vancouver, BC
Canada.

These more than 1,000 signatures have been collected
in support of the demand, “
that this
confessed and convicted terrorist not be granted
asylum by the US government and must be
extradited to Venezuela.”

We understand that today, August 29th 2005,
Posada-Carriles will stand before US courts in a
hearing regarding immigration issues. We assure you
that we, along with millions of people in
the US, Canada and around the world are closely
watching this hearing and anxiously awaiting
the extradition of Posada-Carriles to Venezuela.
