On May 6th 2004 George W. Bush announced a new set of US attacks on Cuba. These new measures dedicate $59Million to train mercenaries and fund efforts to undermine and overthrow Cubas independent government, while also imposing travel restrictions on Cuban-Americans. Already impoverished by 45 years of US economic blockade against them, these new measures are an over all attack on the people of Cuba and their right to self-determination. This new aggression by the US towards Cuba also comes within a time of increasing US attacks on third-world countries across the globe. With Cuba recently listed as one of six countries the US considers an "outpost of tyranny" our work in solidarity with the people of Cuba is becoming increasingly important. Please join us Saturday April 9th for the new film Septiembres y Mas, speakers and discussion about the importance of defending Cuba and the gains of the Cuban revolution today.
