  Student Week Against War and Occupation 2004

   

  Mobilization Against War and Occupation is organizing the Student Week Against War and Occupation (SWAWO) 2004 from September 13th-24th on campuses from UBC all the way to Kwantlen College Langley campus to energize, educate and mobilize students and youth to take action and get involved in organizing against war and occupation. Over the next ten days, more than ten campuses in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland will be back to school in a flurry of anti war organizing and activity.  This important action is being organized in conjunction with local campus teams such as student unions and student organizations and together we are organizing 24 events in the next two weeks!

  The anti-war movement in Vancouver has continued to build through consistent mobilization alongside the growing international movement. The Student Week Against War and Occupation has an important role to play as a part of this. Students and youth need to use their energy and vision to lead this movement for self-determination of all oppressed nations forward. On September 25th, we will see the escalating momentum from the Student Week Against War and Occupation spill out onto the streets of downtown Vancouver as students and youth  lead the demonstration on September 25th, "Students, Youth: Educate, Organize, Mobilize Against War and Occupation!" 

  On September 25th, join us at 3pm at the Vancouver Art Gallery to say:

  "End the Occupation!"

  "Self-Determination for Iraqi People!" 

  "In Solidarity with the Palestinian Resistance to Occupation On the Anniversary of the Beginning of the 2nd Intifada!"
