Join us this Wednesday, October 6th, 6:30pm at the Britannia Community Center (Commercial Drive at Napier Street) for Mobilization Against War and Occupation (MAWO) 's weekly organizing meeting.

Riding off the momentum of the Student Week Against War and Occupation 2004 and the energetic MAWO mobilization on September 25th MAWO has focused energy on its major campaign, "Operation: Canada Out!". More than ten MAWO organizers spent the day in Surrey last week and collected a total of 566 signatures for the petitions, Canada Out of Afghanistan! and Canada Out of Haiti!

Join us at the meeting for political discussion and organizing for our upcoming campaigns and events in building an effective solidarity movement against war and occupation and for self-determination.
