Dear friends

Two different memorials are planned for Patrick Newton.

There will be a Catholic Mass and tea in Victoria on Thursday, December 2nd
Mass at 10:00a.m., with gathering to follow/refreshments
Holy Cross Catholic Church
4049 Gordon Head Road
Victoria BC  (near University of Victoria)

There is also a wake in Vancouver on Saturday, Dec 4th at the Railway Club.
4-9pm. The Club is upstairs - 579 Dunsmuir Street, corner of Seymour.

All are welcome at both memorials.

Canada Palestine Association, of which Pat was the secretary, has set up a
Patrick Newton Memorial Scholarship Fund, that will sponsor Palestinian
post-secondary students in refugee camps in the West Bank.  Donations, in
lieu of flowers, can be sent to Canada Palestine Association, 930-12th St.,
New Westminster, B.C. V3M 4K6 (please make a note on the cheque that it is
for the scholarship fund).
