Mobilization Against War and Occupation (MAWO - Vancouver) joins with the Toronto June 30th Organizing Committee and antiwar activists across Canada to respond to the Nov 30th Bush visit to Canada... 

BUSH NOT WELCOME! 

In every corner of the world, the policies of the Bush administration are causing impoverishment and destruction. On November 30th, this war criminal is coming to Canada. Against overwhelming odds, people across the world are mounting fierce resistance to the empire. We call on all groups and individuals within Canada to organize for November 30th to confront Bush's visit and the agenda it represents. 

Already, corporate Canada and the Canadian government are supplying arms and/or military personnel to occupations in Haiti, Afghanistan, Iraq and Palestine. We will not tolerate further complicity in these brutal, colonial wars. 

Abroad, the vicious assault against Fallujah shows just what Bush plans to do with his new electoral "mandate". At home, Bush makes those living in poverty only poorer while accelerating attacks on immigrants and refugees -the predictable outcome of Bush's and Martin's so-called security agenda. We need to confront the Martin government on many fronts, but no time is more crucial than when he's about to roll out the red carpet for a brutal murderer of people on all continents. 

On November 30th in Ottawa, Bush must be confronted. At the same time, from coast to coast, the government hosting this criminal can know no peace. Please sign on to this call-out, and join us in ensuring that Bush receives the welcome he deserves.
