Dear Friends:
I am sending the call below even though it is focused for Vancouver, BC activists to let you know there are actions here going on here. On Friday, November 9th at 3:00 p.m. there will be a demonstration at Burrard and Georgia to demand the US leave Iraq now.
Everywhere throughout the world we must work hard to express the outrage of humanity against this atrocity against the people and city of Fellujah. Can we not compare such brutality against this city to what the armies of the Third Reich did to Poland, Yugoslavia or the Soviet Union? Let us find ways to saying No, this will not pass. There is an alternative to the U.S. empire. Victory to the fighting resistance forces of Iraq. Whatever their ideological or political views, they are heroically defending the dignity and sovereignty of their long-suffering country against a brutal, illegal invader and occupier. Anyone with the slightest sense of justice and democracy can not but speak out in solidarity with their just fight, and condemn the US occupiers and aggressors.
U.S. occupiers out of Iraq now!
Best wishes,
Charles Boylan
