[antiwar-van] Invitation to next MAWO meeting...

This is an invitation to attend the next meeting of the lower mainland anti war, anti occupation coalition Mobilization Against War and Occupation (MAWO) Wednesday May 12 at 6:30pm - Britannia Community Centre (Commercial Drive at Napier).
 
In the past weeks as the prisoner abuse scandal in Iraq has unfolded people all over the world have now seen the most obscene face of US/UK imperialist "liberation". As more documentation comes forward, we are furthering our understanding that this is not isolated, but that it is policy and strategy in dealing with Iraqi people; to humiliate and torture them to try to crush their will to resist. This will not happen. The Iraqi people push forward, taking control of Fallujah, demonstrating in the streets, and with continued attacks on occupiers. We must continue to organize in solidarity with them, here in Vancouver and the lower mainland. Join us.
