Please distribute widely!
Come to the Blaine Peace Arch and help friends of Cuba cross the
border on Sunday 20 June 12:00PM
We pass on this important item for Vancouver / Seattle area people.
G.W. Bush wants to prevent humanitarian aid for Cuba to enter the
U.S. from Canada. It is crucial this first leg of Pastors for Peace
Caravan is successful. Say NO to Bush's plans for a "regime change"
in on the island and his attempts to starve the Cuban people.
Only mass support will ensure these brave Canadians safe entry into
the U.S. with their humanitarian aid for the Cuban people.
Join them at the Blaine Peace Arch crossing.
In solidarity,
Leonardo Hechavarria

Subject: Friendshipment Caravan to Cuba
Hi friends,
Time has come once again to let the U.S. know that Cuba is not for grabs.
The 15th Friendshipment Caravan to Cuba will begin by crossing the
border from Canada into the U.S. this Sunday, June 20 - 12 noon at
the Peace Arch. We will be the first ones to cross in the West. In
case U.S.custom officials try to give us a hard time we hope to see
you there so we are in strength. Although we have always been able to
go through, there were numerous times when they tried to stop us.
There will be a small program at the Peace Arch before we cross.
Our guest from Pastors for Peace this time will be Walter Lippmann
who is a writer, photographer and activist. He has traveled to Cuba
on numerous occasions and written books, articles and commentaries
about it.
In solidarity,
Randy
