This petition is directed to PM Paul Martin and Foriegn Affairs Minister Bill Graham. It is part of a major campaign launched by MAWO which is focused on building an effective opposition to the Canadaian troops in Afghanistan. MAWO launched the campaign In January 29, 2004 - (Press Releases on Launch)

Recently MAWO has launched a Petition Tour Drive called OPERATION: CANADA OUT! wherein a large contingent of members and supporters join together at a campus or community location for an entire day to gather signatures and spread the word about Canada's brutal occupation of Afghanistan. Through this tour, MAWO has collected hundreds of signatures and had incredible conversations with people all across the lower mainland. We wont be announcing our tour dates until they happen, but be sure to look out for us because we could be hitting a location near you!

We are now organizing to build the campaign into a Canada-wide effort and to strongly demand, as people in Canada in solidarity with the Afghan people, that Canada must BRING THE TROOPS HOME NOW!
