[antiwar-van] Emergency Mobilization April 16!!

All those against Occupation:

This week has seen continued intense fighting  between resistance and occupying forces in Iraq and also a response from the anti war movement worldwide mobilizing and calling for an end to the massacres and an end to the occupation. 

Vancouver is an active part of this anti war movement as we saw last weekend with the emergency protest organized by Mobilization Against War and Occupation (MAWO) on April 10 and continuing this weekend with the April 16 Rally organized by Stopwar.ca in solidarity with the Palestine Community Centre. 

Last night at the weekly MAWO meeting, members voted to endorse and participate in the rally this friday as it is an important action in continuing to echo the demands of the Iraqi people. MAWO is calling on its members and supporters, and all people in Vancouver, to build and attend this event as well. 

Through this unified action we will join with people in Vancouver and all over the world to say:

US/UK Out of Iraq!
Stop the Massacres of the Iraqi People!
End the colonial occupation of Iraq!
