1- Webcast from November 29, 2003 International Day of Solidarity With the
Palestinian people
The Canada Palestine Association and ISM Vancouver hosted an evening
of solidarity with the Palestinian People on Saturday November 29 at
the Maritime Labour Centre in Vancouver. Over 350 people attended the event.
Guest speakers included Cindy and Craig Corrie, parents of slain 23 year-old
American peace
activist Rachel Corrie, Vancouver City Councilor Ann Roberts and Native
leader Splitting the Sky.
Rachel was an ISM ( International Solidarity Movement ) volunteer in
Palestine when an Israeli soldier drove a bulldozer over her. She had
been standing in front of a Palestinian home in Rafa, to protect it

2- Interview with Rachel's Parents
The Voice of Palestine, Vancouver www.voiceofpalestine.ca also interviewed
the Corries on November 25, 2003. The Corries spoke about their recent trip
to Palestine, the places they visited (Rafah, Bethlehem, Jerusalem, Nazlat
Issa) and what they saw there.
