This Thursday Nov. 7th at 7p.m.
at the IWA Hall

Al Blakey, Jane Bouey, Tim Louis, Kevin Millsip, Lyndsay Poaps, and Ellen Woodsworth
will talk to us about their plans to bring the city, the school board and the parks under the control of ordinary people.  They will also explore the issues of homelessness and police accountability in dialogue with among others:  Jim Leyden of the Woodward's Squat, and three of the protestors violently arrested by police at a recent rally at Britannia:  United Church Minister George Feenstra, Coop Radio reporter Murray Bush, and Anti-Poverty Committee organizer Ivan Drury.

* "A roof over our head":  How important a right is it?

* Should our public transit be publicly owned & affordable? 
* How much does issuing permits to giants like Walmart, which profit from slave-type labour 
  in the Third World, affect our local economic development?
