An Evening of Palestinian Film 
"Frontiers" and "Children of Shatila" 
by Mai Masri
Mai Masri is a leading Palestinian-American filmmaker and she has a significant body of work, including a documentary on Hanan Ashrawi and Children of Fire Frontiers of Dreams and Fears, 2001. Her new film, Children of Shatila follows the lives of two young Palestinian women, one in Shatila refugee camp in Lebanon and the other in Dheisheh camp near Bethlehem. Already well received at the Montreal Film Festival, it has won several international awards. 
Proceeds from the evening go to a 
scholarship fund for Palestinian refugee children.
