[antiwar-van] Anti-racism event in Eastvan

Hey, I'm Michael Rosen and I'm a summer playground leader at Pandora Park (Nanaimo and Franklin, 1 block north of Hastings), I have been active in Montreal the last few years and helped organize the g8 reclaim the streets a little bit.  I was recently asked to organize a B.C. day celebration at the my park August 5th.  Ideas of multiculturalism were thrown around and I wasn't too inspired untill I realized that I could turn it into an explicitly anti-racism event.  The basic idea would be performances, interactive activities and food as well as a few information tables.

Visions of B.C.: Multicuturalism and How It Could Be.
A celebration of the diversity and the struggle against racism in our community
