winning documentary, THE SENTENCE.  

	 Join Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) and Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) for a
conversation with filmmaker Rudy Valdez, Cindy Shank, and actor
Vincent D'Onofrio.

	 Cindy Shank, mother of three, is serving a 15-year sentence in
federal prison for her tangential involvement with a Michigan drug
ring years earlier. This intimate portrait of mandatory minimum drug
sentences’ devastating consequences, captured by Cindy’s brother,
follows her and her family over the course of ten years. Watch the
preview.                           
	 Broad bipartisan support for criminal justice reform is growing but
the path to achieve legislative change is complicated. Join us to
learn about the essential elements to make federal criminal justice
reform as impactful as possible by incorporating vital elements of
prison and sentencing reform.
